Then, from the moment each stalk first appears on the plant, we take extraordinary care of our fruit: first, placing them in plastic bags to keep pests out, and then by keeping direct handling to a minimum.

Each week, our bananas arrive at our leading edge port facilities in Connecticut and Mississippi, each hand packed in a specially padded shipping box and kept in monitored refrigerated warehouses. The boxes are stacked on pallets, and from then on nobody touches them until they reach our customers' ripening rooms.
