Project Description: Since its construction in 2002, Fundaunibán has financed the human resources by providing this public library with 5 supervisors who manage it. In addition to this, Fundaunibán has implemented over 279 cultural programs to complement the academic events the library offers.
Impact: The library currently counts with 7,670 books and materials that promotes reading and has organized about 500 academic events, benefiting over 226,000 users that support their academic and research activities through this library.

"I often go to the library
because I like the
building, the books, and
the wide program of
events such as movies,
exhibitions and
conferences they offer
every week. I am very
proud of my town and the
library. "
- Jorge Eduardo Mena Hinestroza, 8th grade student
